Self-Profile Fact Sheet
1. name one thing you really like, and think you do well. Are you a gamer? Do you skateboard? Do you play guitar? Are you an athlete, with a favorite sport? Are you a painter, or a writer? Do you sing?
2. Write down a story of when you first began to like this hobby, or skill. When did you first become aware that you were good at this thing, and liked it a lot?
3. Do you have a routine for doing this thing? Do you skate every day, or a few times a week, for example? Do you play X-box or PlayStation at a certain time each day? Spell out your routine.

4. Where do you see this skill going? If you’re an athlete, do you want to play this sport in college? If you’re a singer or musician, do you want to do this professionally? Could this skill or skills shape the career you choose down the line?
Answer these questions and you’ll have the material necessary to write a profile story like the ones we studied last week, only this time YOU will be the subject.
