Using the techniques we learned in the last class, you'll make a slide of yourself.
I. Start by taking a photo of yourself in Photobooth. (Type photobooth into the magnifying glass in the top right if it's not on your tool bar on the bottom of your screen.) Take a photo of yourself. Keep it on your desktop.

2. Open Photoshop
3. Create a new project. Make the dimensions of the frame 100o pixels wide by 1400 pixels high.
4. Create a new layer, layer 1. Using your bucket took, make the layer white.
5. Create a new layer, layer 2. Using the rectangular marquee tool, make a broken-line frame that is inside, or smaller than frame 1, inside of frame 2. Using your bucket tool, make this frame in layer 2 a color that is complementary to white.
6. Make a new layer, layer 3. Using your text tool, put your name in this frame, in white letters in the font of your choice, in 72 point type.
7. Make a new layer, layer 4. Go back to your photo on your desktop and copy it onto your clipboard. Go back into Photoshop and paste your layer into layer 4. Resize the photo if you have to to fit the layer. Apply your move once you have re-sized the photo.
8. Using your quick selection tool, select the outline of yourself.
9. In the layer box, pull layer 4 so that it is above layer 2 in the stack.
10. Highlight layer 2 in your layer box and hit the "delete" key. You should see a cutout of yourself in layer two.
11. Highlight layer 4, the one with your photo, and deselect it by clicking the eyeball button to its left.
12. Using the marquee tool and the paint bucket tool, select and change the colors of individual letters in layer 3.
When you are finished, your project should look something like this:
